What Load Class Does a 5-tonne Manhole Cover Correspond to?
5T ratings do not have an equivalent EN124 class, so best described as load rated up to 5 tonnes or 50kN. 5T Steel options are classified AA by the Fabricated Access Covers Trade Association (FACTA).
Where Can A 5-tonne Load Class Manhole Cover be Installed?
5-tonne manhole covers are suitable for very light industrial areas where small trolleys and private vehicles may make up traffic.
These are suitable for domestic driveways, trolley parks or internally in hospital wards.
What Materials Are 5-tonne Manhole Covers Made From?
