D400 Channel Drainage

Maintaining D400 drainage channels is crucial but thankfully very straightforward. On a regular basis:

• Clean channels – clean the drainage channels to remove any solid materials
• Empty sump pits – empty the sump pits to prevent overflowing 
• Remove surface debris – brush away any debris trapped against the grates
• Check material condition – visually inspect the grates and channels for any signs of wear or cracking
• Test locks – test the locking mechanisms to ensure they aren’t malfunctioning
