SINGLE Sided Joint Lap Tape: 75mm x33m Roll
General purpose Black Polyethylene tape. Flexible (even at sub-zero temperatures, extensible, conformable and tough).
Resistant to moisture, many chemicals such as dilute acids and alkalis and to salt solutions.
Requires only gentle pressure to adhere to almost any clean, dry surface ie. free from dust, oil, grease, or moisture.
The tape is intended for use at normal temperatures, although lower temperatures down to -50ºC will not adversely affect it once it has been satisfactorily applied.
Breaking Strength: 18N/cm (4.5kg per 25mm)
Adhesion to Steel: 3.2N/cm (800g per 25mm)
Adhesion to Backing: 1.5N/cm (375g per 25mm)
Temperature Resistance: can be used up to 60ºC
Water Extract: Neutral (ie acid-free) pH 5.5 to 8.0
Water Vapour Permeability: 5g/m per 24 hours (at 38ºC and 90%)
