What is a 200mm Drainage Pipe Used For?
200mm diameter drainage pipes are installed underground and used for transporting sewage, wastewater and other fluids away from residential and commercial buildings and into processing systems. Their wide, 200mm diameter makes them ideal for supporting commercial and industrial sewage systems and infrastructure and can also be used for surface water drainage.
What Materials are 200mm Drainage Pipes Made From?
Drainfast’s Vision 200mm drainage pipes are made from materials including uPVC and compounds. These materials are durable, resistant to corrosion, chemicals, rot and vermin, as manufactured under relevant British standards.
How are 200mm Pipes Connected?
200mm drainage sewer pipes connect via socketed connections with integrated rubber seals and couplers to ensure watertight joints. These connections can join pipe systems that feature the same or different diameters and allow for different gradients and layouts. However, proper preparation, alignment and sometimes lubricant are needed for secure, leak-free connections that comply with BS EN 1401 or BS 4962 regulations.
